Royal Canin Maxi Starter Food is formulated for both lactating mothers and nursing puppies (up to 2 months old). The weight of the mother dog should be 26-44kgs. 

Weaning: This feed is ideal for weaning purposes. Since it can easily be rehydrated to make it mushy, which can be an effective transition from milk to solid food for nursing puppies.

Essential Nutrients: Enriched with a mix of essential nutrients present in the mother’s milk which can provide the necessary nutrition.

Once the puppy grows more than 2 months of age, switch to Royal Canin Maxi Puppy Dry Food. Moreover, once the lactation period of the mother dog concludes, you may switch to Royal Canin Maxi Adult Dog Food.
