ROYAL CANIN Anallergenic Cat Food is a scientifically formulated and unique nutritional solution for cats with severe dietary allergies. Anallergenic proteins are extensively hydrolyzed. 88% of the protein source is pure amino acids and 99% of the finished product protein is < 6kDa. The hydrolyzed feather protein source is unique and sustainable. Recommended for (indications): Adverse Food Reactions (AFR) with dermatologic and gastro-intestinal signs: Diagnosis: food elimination trial – management, Feline Atopic Dermatitis (CAD) associated with AFR, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Not recommended for (contraindications): Growth, gestation, and lactation. This diet is complete and balanced and can be fed long-term. A full health check should be performed by a veterinarian every 6 months.

Ingredients

Maize starch, feather hydrolysate with low molecular weight (source of L-amino acids and oligopeptides), copra oil, soya oil, vegetable fibers, minerals, animal fat, chicory pulp, fish oil, fructooligosaccharides, maltodextrin, mono – and diglycerides of palmitic and stearic acids esterified with citric acid, dextrose, marigold meal. Protein source: feather hydrolysate with low molecular weight (26.2%). Carbohydrate source: maize starch (35.9%). ADDITIVES (KG)** Nutritional additives: Vitamin A: 26000 IU, Vitamin D3: 800 IU, Iron: 42 mg, Iodine: 3.8 mg, Copper: 15 mg, Manganese: 54 mg, Zinc: 147 mg, Selenium: 0.37 mg – Technological additives: clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin: 9 g – Preservatives – Antioxidants. **Values reflect only levels added to the formula, not those naturally occurring in diet components. ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Protein: 24.6% – Fat content: 17.0% – Crude ash: 7.5% – Crude fibre: 3.2% – Essential fatty acids (linoleic acid: 3.33%, arachidonic acid: 0.02%).

Feeding instructions for Royal Canin Anallergenic Cat Food

Water should be available at all times. Nutritional management with Anallergenic may be continued for the pet’s lifetime. A veterinarian’s opinion should be sought before use, and before extending the period of use. When a food allergy or food intolerance is suspected, the cat’s diet should be changed following classical food transition (over 5-7 days). Nutritional management with Anallergenic may be continued for the pet’s lifetime. However, it is recommended that a health check be performed every 6 months.
